We are currently looking for volunteers, who might have a little free time during the week or on weekends, to help us with the following tasks:

1. Graphics and Design Work

2. Coding Work

If you feel you can help us in this regard then please do contact us

We have had a number of people offer help in the past, offering to do certain tasks then not follow through. We request that you offer any and all help you can, but do feel free to tell us if there is something you cannot now do, or are stuck for time to finish. We value your help large or small and are thankful for it.

 Firstly to all those mosques/masjids/organisations that have requested websites, we apologies for the slow updates and response. There are a number of reasons for this:

1. We are a very small team of part time people.
2. There has been alot of hinderance in recent months due to people hacking or attempting to hack the site and various sites provided though us. 
3. We just simply did not expect such a vast interest.

We are trying to work on a somewhat first come first serve basis. What we ask from you at present is the following:

1. Patience
2. Ideas and Suggestions for improving what we are offering or you would like to see offered.

 Salams, (Hello)

After a busy month on Hajj, Allhamdullilah we are back, and inshallah our Hajj will be accepted.

A few important announcements.

1. We apologise that the site was down for a few days near the end of december however, some of our turkish brothers, found it amusing to deface/hack the main page whilst we were away. Anyway we thank them for highlighting a problem, which we now hope inshallah is fixed. We do pray that if they find a problem next time, they email us rather instead, we after all are doing this in our free time also to help Muslims and Islam.

2. We have had a number of mosque/masjids signing up, not giving full details or a valid contact. This causes problems as we cannot communicate with you and hence starts to cause a buildup and delay.

3. We do ask you all have a little patience, as you may have noticed the site is still in beta phase, and inshallah there will be alot more updates in this coming month.

4. We are still accepting people to help in the following tasks:

• Site Assistance - Content writing, sorting, sourcing, article writing, general assistance (also soon forum moderation assistance - as we will have the forum up and running soon inshallah on request of a number of people)
• Graphic Design Work - We would welcome anyone who wishes to help and assist in all sorts of graphic design work. We have a need for a mixture of free donated work required and soon inshallah will also have paid work available. (Graphic Designers are requested to read back through the news to the graphic design competition also for details of assistance required for the site)
• Programmers & Coders - We are actively seeking people who can help with various aspects of coding, from the more basic tasks to some rather complex tasks. If any programmers and coders wish to help please do contact us. Skills including PHP, AJAX, ROR, LAMP and in general most coding related issues.
• Site Content Requests - If there is something specific you would like to see on the site or included on the site. Or would like us to incorporate into the final mosque/masjid sites, please do let us know. So we can look into the viability of such requests. With regards to site content requests, we will be adding a section to the site to let people see what has been requested so far and when it will inshallah be added to the site.

5. Link Directory - There is a directory for relevant islamic sites or related sites to link to us and provide us with a link in exchange that can now be found in the Services Section and then in the left hand side menu please choose directory. Many people have requested that we manually add data to this, however this is an extensive and time consuming task, and in all reality, that time would be better spent for us completing other sections of the site. However the system is automated and we would encourage, others and webmasters of other islamic sites to feel free to use the directory and input thier details.  

Again we thank you all for your kind comments and support via email and we will do our best to fullfil as many requests and demands as we can.
